AIA Maine is pleased to announce the honorees of the 2016 AIA Maine Design Awards program. The winners were revealed and celebrated last week in Brunswick.
Over 150 members of Maine's design community gathered to experience an evening of great architecture and design, showcasing over 60 of Maine’s best architectural projects in a unique space on the Androscoggin River in Brunswick. Gavin Engler of Carol A Wilson Architects acted as Master of Ceremonies of the presentation. AIA Maine president, Robert Tillotson announced the winners as jury-member Elizabeth Gray, principal of Gray Organschi Architecture, shared the jury’s insights about each award-winning project.
This year’s New Haven, Connecticut-based jury reviewed over 60 entries and narrowed the group to eleven honorees.
